Det meningsfulla livet (A meaningfull life)

Västerås / 2016

Det Meningsfulla livet (A meaningful life) is a stage performance, a documentary drama set in a radio station. The performance examines one of the greatest challenges in life, how do I live a meaningful life? The starting point was inspired by the existentialist Albert Camus and the philosophical question: is life meaningful to be lived in a meaningless and absurd world and how do I come to my senses that I will one day die.
In 2015 interviews were made with 60 seniors from all across Västmanland. There, the question about the meaningful life resulted in stories of life. Some lives have been terrible, others happy, some have lived their lives on the edge, and some in the dark.
The show gives an insight into how it is to be old, where the past and present are interwoven in the unique life stories full of sorrow and joy.
