Radio, Ballet and the Transparent Shadow

Radio Ballet and The Transparent Shadow is a performance that takes place in a pitch-black environment in which the physical presence of the dancers has been replaced by the audience itself, binaural recordings and directional sounds.
Thus, allowing visitors to move in a borderland between the dancers and their own imagination. In what ways can dance be experienced when visual perception is not a part of the actual experience? How can physical presence be felt when the body cannot be seen? In Radio Ballet and The Transparent Shadow we find various artistic disciplines such as choreography, spatial installation, binaural sound design and radio storytelling coming together to create a cohesive sense experience in which the public can act both as a witness and an active participant.
